Blank, a son of 2019 Hambletonian third-place finisher Gimpanzee, rallied off a third-

over trip to finish third in the first Hambletonian elimination on Saturday (July 26) at the

Meadowlands. The longest shot on the board at 46-1, Blank closed in 26.3 to clock a

1:51.4 mile and was half a length behind winner Emoticon Legacy.

As a 2-year-old, Blank won a leg of the Kentucky Championship Series and was

second-placed-first in his Bluegrass Stakes division, both at The Red Mile. He was also

fourth in the Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Colt Trot final at the Meadowlands.

He hasn’t won in five starts so far in 2025 but was third in his Stanley Dancer Memorial

division at the Meadowlands prior to the Hambletonian eliminations.
