Winning Key Farms was established in1987 by Bob and Patty Key in the hills of Western Pennsylvania.   Starting with a small band of broodmares, they found great early success in major stakes such as the Breeders Crown, the Peter Haughton, The Jugette and the crown jewel of trotting...The Hambletonian.

Eventually growing to over 400 mares, yearlings, racehorses and three farms, the farm continued to produce winners over the next decades with their homebreds.  After the passing of Mr Key in 2021, Patty re envisioned the path forward for Winning Key Farm.  Downsizing by over 75%, she started focusing on incorporating new bloodlines, purchasing high quality mares, breeding to the top stallions and pointing the yearlings to the major fall sales.

Now with one farm and 60 horses, Winning Key Farm plans to put their stamp on the best racing in the world and be your "Key to success!"
