2019 Breeders Crown - Andy McCarthy w/ Ryan Macedonio

Leading up to the 2019 Breeders Crown, Shartin N was nearly unbeatable as the #1 ranked horse overall. Caviart Ally pulled the upset the previous race in Lexington, then backed it up in the $300,000 Mare Pace Final. Andy McCarthy recapped it all with Ryan Macedonio
The cherry on the Breeders Crown sundae for Andy McCarthy was the victory by Dancin Lou just nosing out Bettor's Wish, the richest standardbred in 2019, in the last few strides! The weather was not cooperative as wind and rain poured down.
Andy kicked off the 2019 Breeders Crown weekend with his first Championship ever! The 2 year old trotting filly had to overcome a subpar elim AND post 10, but Andy was still supremely confident headed behind the gate!
There were 3 powerhouses, Alicorn, Lyons Sentinel, and Priceless, heading into the 2 year old filly pace Breeders Crown Final! Andy McCarthy had Reflect With Me and hoped those 3 all battled each other early, leaving nothing for the stretch drive. That's exactly what happened and Andy swooped the field on the far outside, winning in the final strides!
