Goodtimes elims forefront in Hambo-Trail action

Mohawk Racetrack contested two eliminations for the Goodtimes stakes on Friday, June 9, which were the highlight “Trail” events during this weekend, which also included eliminations for the Empire Breeders Classic (EBC) at Vernon Downs on Friday, and divisions of the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes (PASS) at Philadelphia on Thursday, June 8 and at Pocono Downs on Saturday, June 10, respectively.

International Moni (H-Love You) rallied towards the center of the track to edge past Guardian Angel As (H-Archangel) and Jake (H-Muscle Hill) to win the first Goodtimes elimination in 1:54. Owned by Moni Maker Stable, trained by Frank Antonacci, and driven by Scott Zeron, he paid $31.80 to win.

Enterprise (H-Chapter Seven) went wire to wire in the second Goodtimes elimination, winning in 1:53.1 over Awol Hanover (H-Donato Hanover) and Shake It Off Lindy (H-Crazed). Owned by Courant Inc., trained by Marcus Melander and driven by David Miller, he paid $3.10 to win.

Fillies were in action at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Thursday in four divisions of the PASS. Division one was claimed by Overdraft Volo (H-Yankee Glide), winning over Princess Aurora (H-Cantab Hall) and Hot Mess Hanover in 1:55.3. Owned by Pinske Stables and Kentuckiana Racing Stables, trained by Julie Miller, and driven by Andy Miller, she paid $7.00 to win.

Treviso (H-Muscle Massive) cruised in division two to a 1:54 win over Cool Cates (H-Yankee Glide) and Broadway Idole (H-Broadway Hall). Owned by Klis Brothers Stable and Carrie Norris and trained and driven by Charlie Norris, she paid $2.80.

That’s All Moni (H-Cantab Hall) went gate to wire in division three, winning in 1:53.4 over Fine Tuned Lady (H-Cantab Hall) and The Erm. Owned by Brittany Farms, Marvin Katz, and Al Libfeld, trained by Jimmy Takter, and driven by Tim Tetrick, she paid $3.40.

Caviart Wonder (H-Muscle Massive) took the final division in 1:54.1 over Vodka N Lindy (H-Cantab Hall) and Can’t I (H-Cantab Hall). Owned by Caviart Farms, trained by Noel Daley, and driven by Andrew McCarthy, she paid $4.80.

Elimination one of the EBC went to Bill’s Man (H-Credit Winner), winning off a pocket trip in 1:53 over Such An Angel (H-Credit Winner) and Stick With Me Kid. Owned by William Wiswell and M and L of Delaware, trained by John Butenschoen, and driven by Corey Callahan, he paid $3.90.

Devious Man (H-Credit Winner) swept by pocket-rider Such An Angel and pacesetter Lord Cromwell to take the other EBC elimination in 1:53.4. Owned by Story Inc, and Andy Miller Stables Inc., trained by Julie Miller and driven by Andy Miller, he paid $4.10 to win.

Rubio (H-Cantab Hall) brushed to command around the final turn to take the first PASS split at Pocono Downs in 1:53.1 over Muscles Jared (H-Muscle Massive) and Di Oggi (H-Crazed). Owned by Christina Takter, John and Jim Fielding, and Brixton Medical Inc, and trained and driven by Jimmy Takter, he paid $11.80.

Dover Dan (H-Andover Hall) also brushed to the lead around the final turn, advancing to a 1:52.4 win over Moonshiner Hanover (H-Andover Hall) and Sir John F (H-Donato Hanover). Owned by William Wiswell, Jean Goehlen, and Eugene Schick, trained by John Butenschoen, and driven by Corey Callahan, he paid $8.00.

Giveitgasandgo (H-Yankee Glide) wired the field in the final PASS split, winning in 1:52.4 over President Lindy (H-Cantab Hall) and Andy M. Owned by Harmony Oaks Racing Stables, David Miller, Lawrence Means, and VIP Internet Stables, trained by John Butenschoen and driven by Corey Callahan, he paid $6.60.
