Mohawk Racetrack hosted two divisions of the $226,050 Nassagaweya Stakes for two-year-old pacers and a single dash of the $192,333 Eternal Camnation on Saturday, Aug. 26.

Shadow Moon (BC-Shadow Play) swept off cover to take the first Nassagaweya split in 1:51.4 over This Is The Plan (BC-Somebeachsomewhere) and odds-on favorite Declan Seelster. Trained and owned by Dr. Ian Moore along with partners R G McGroup Ltd., Serge Savard, and Gordon McComb and driven by Trevor Henry, he paid $7.90.

Pedro Hanover (BC-Somebeachsomewhere) propelled himself to the front from the back of the pack, taking the second Nassagaweya division in 1:52.1 over Trump That and Hudson Phil. Owned by Brad Gray and Denise Guerriero, trained by Andrew Harris, and driven by Andrew McCarthy, he paid $5.00 to win.

Percy Bluechip (BC-Shadow Play) remained undefeated winning her fourth start in her career, taking the Eternal Camnation going wire to wire in 1:51.4 over Kendall Seelster and Kissin In The Sand (BC-Somebeachsomewhere). Owned by Shadow Two Stable, James and Wilma Mackenzie, and Hudson Standardbred Inc., trained by Dr. Ian Moore, and driven by Trevor Henry, she paid $2.90 to win.
