Privacy Policy
The Hambletonian Society uses a private posting tool (“Post Tool”) so our staff can publish our own videos to our own YouTube channels, Facebook pages and Instagram account. The tool is not offered to the public.
What it accesses
When a staff member connects an account, the tool receives permission to upload videos, set thumbnails, add videos to playlists, and publish posts on the YouTube channels, Facebook pages and Instagram accounts that the Hambletonian Society manages. It reads only the account, channel and page names it needs to post to the right place.
How it is used and stored
This information is used only to publish our own content. Sign-in tokens are stored only on the staff computer that runs the tool. We do not sell, share or transfer this data to anyone, we do not use it for advertising, and the tool has no permission to run ads or spend money.
Google and YouTube
Post Tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). See the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Post Tool’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove the tool’s access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Facebook and Instagram
You can remove the tool’s access at any time in Facebook Settings under Business Integrations.
Deleting data
Removing access as described above stops the tool from using an account. To have stored tokens deleted, contact the Hambletonian Society through hambletonian.com.
