Five weeks after undergoing emergency surgery for hernia repair, Southwind Ozzi blazed to victory for Brian Sears in 1:48 in Saturday's $400,000 final of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids at The Meadows. It was the second-fastest mile in the 53-year history of the Adios, missing Bolt The Duer's 1:47.4 record (2012) by a tick.
Tall Drink Hanover exploited her post position advantage to NIP world champion Warrawee Ubeaut in Saturday's $120,000 Quinton Patterson Adioo Volo at The Meadows. Stonebridge Soul captured her third straight stake in the other division of the event for 3-year-old filly pacers
Stonebridge Soul entered the Adioo Volo off wins in a pair of prestigious stakes - the Lynch and the Mistletoe Shalee - and she kept the ball rolling with a front-end score in 1:51.1 for Tim Tetrick, trainer Chris Ryder and owners Henderson Farms and Robert Mondillo.
